Cooked sausage is the most popular, desirable, and marketable product. Statistics show that the cooked sausage, frankfurters, and wieners take more than 60% in sausage manufacturing.
One way to pack cooked sausage is the use of casing with printed product information on it. A liner made of paper or polymer film with a print is used as a cheaper alternative to this type of marking which is placed under the transparent casing of the cooked sausage.
Paper liners are more attractive for manufacturers for their relatively inexpensive price and eco-friendliness. But they easily get wet, tear and deform, i.e. lose their marketable style. Therefore, there is a trend towards a shift from paper liners to much more useful film liners nowadays. They are more known as the BOPP liners because they are made of biaxially oriented polypropylene film (abbreviated as BOPP), a synthetic material approved for food packaging.
Unlike similar paper liners, the BOPP liners for cooked sausage packages are featured by their durability, resistance to moisture and fats. The printed image on such liners looks bright and attractive.
The BOPP liners are chemically inert. They do not emit harmful substances, affect the color, odor, and taste of products. However, printing onto polypropylene film is more difficult than printing on paper due to its greater rigidity and non-absorbent surface.
The Green Trade Company is engaged in the BOPP liners manufacturing for cooked sausage packages. We accept orders for the design of the BOPP liners, carry out all kinds of printing jobs as well as flexographic printing, and guarantee the best result. We are open to cooperation with Ukrainian and foreign companies.
